Womens Shelters in the US. Donate for free!
Unless you have gone through the fear and pain of leaving your home and hiding for safety in a women's shelter, the little everyday things that mean so little to us, mean so much for the women in the shelter.
Tampons and pads are used by the thousands, and although assistance agencies help with expenses for "everdyay items" these often do not include feminine products.
Seventh Generation will make a donation for you to a women's shelter in the state of your choice. Just by clicking this link. www.tampontification.com/donate.php How easy was that!
Local Car Donation Program puts needy families "behind the wheel and on their feet."
Family Liftis a program of MonmouthCares, a West Long Branch 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, which matches donors of used cars withfamilies that are struggling to meet significant challenges in their lives - families in dire need of transportation to keep the family stable or reach a higher level of self-sufficiency.
The donation of an old car can help a family:
* keep a job, work longer hours, accept shift work and find a better job outside of public transportation routes.
* get needed job training or higher education.
* take children to medical appointments, counseling, after-school activities, etc.
Donors of cars are entitled to an income tax deduction of full fair market value, since title is directly transferred to a local family who will be using the car to become more self-sufficient and self-supporting.
Unfortunately, at present, our request list is growing, and our inventory of vehicles is dangerously low.
Please consider giving your old car a new life that will make a difference to a needy MonmouthCares family.
