Beliza Ann Furman serves on many Monmouth County Charity Committees including co-chairing the Count Basie Golf and Tennis Classic and is a board member of The Women's Council for the Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth Medical Center where she co chairs Marketing and Publicity. Mrs Furman who competed professionally in the World Professional Figure Skating Championships, owned and operated a cosmetic boutique Face Place, Little Silver, NJ as well an eponymous cosmetic company "Beliza" exclusive .to Bloomingdale's across the nation. She is the author of two published books: "Younger Women/Older Men" and "Test Driving Marriage". Both books were rated by the A by the National Library Journal and Barnes and Noble Booksellers. She has appeared on Oprah, Regis and Kathy Lee, CNN, Donahue, Geraldo, Good Morning America, Eye Witness News and countless television interviews. Married to the late Dr. Samuel E. Furman. Beliza has four children and resides in Rumson, New Jersey.
